Use of Testifire continues to rise, with the benefits of an all-in-one tester proving popular with fire engineers across the globe.

To help keep up with the demand and ensure best practice, Detectortesters’ French partner firm - Cordia recently delivered product training to the sales team of their leading distributor.

Detectortesters - Cordia partnership

The relationship between Cordia and Detectortesters stretches back over 20 years, during this time the market for fire detection test equipment has changed significantly as industry codes and standards have continued to develop and the need for compliant testing has grown stronger.

Having started out promoting and supporting Detectortesters’ renowned Solo range, Cordia, like many distributors, have seen a rise in demand for Testifire products, as an increasing number of fire maintenance companies look for benefits linked to productivity and compliance.

Training provided on the Testifire product range

This latest training day, held at Zoo de Beauval, in Saint-Aignan, Loir-et-Cher, France, was organized to support the growing interest in the product, with content on the day concentrating on solutions from the Testifire range and the various kits available.

Arnaud Blachère, the Director of Communication at Cordia, said “In total, we trained 70 individuals, divided into small groups. Everyone was introduced to Testifire and made aware of the features and benefits offered by the product, the day was a great success and by the end, everyone was impressed with the benefits the technology offered, to confirm this - we concluded the day by simulating some sales meetings and presentations to potential customers.

Regular training sessions organize by Cordia

Over recent years, the efforts of Cordia to develop the market for test equipment through education and promotion have been significant, with regular training sessions, sales visits and trade show attendance helping drive demand and raise standards within the industry.

These efforts have made Cordia one of Detectortesters key export partners, which, in turn, has supported Detectortesters’ international sales growth.

Rise in demand for Detectortesters’ products in France

Alex Brown, the Sales Manager at Detectortesters, said “It’s been fantastic to see demand for our solutions continue to rise in France. Our recent Queen’s Award success marked six years of international sales growth and it’s only through the support and efforts of partners such as Cordia that we are able to achieve this.
