As part of their commitment to measuring their impact on society and the environment, DetectorTesters (DT) have recently taken the first steps in developing their ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy.
At the start of the year, Aliola Balla was appointed to the role of ESG Manager and since that time, has made rapid progress in identifying the issues that need to be focused on and bringing members of the team together, in order to understand the actions they need to take.
ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy
Caroline Johnstone and Paula Sullivan have held several internal workshops engaging all DT members
As part of this, they have begun working with Caroline and Paula from Rawstone Consulting, an ESG and sustainability consultancy that specializes in helping medium and large companies develop strategy, and support its implementation and reporting.
To kick the process off, Caroline Johnstone and Paula Sullivan have held several internal workshops engaging all DT members.
Workshop sessions
The workshop sessions provided the opportunity to give the team an insight into ESG meaning, allowing Rawstone Consulting to propose a Materiality Study and suggest a Sustainability Strategy tailored around their business values.
With the materiality and ESG strategy now delivered from Rawstone, DetectorTesters will ensure that their company can measure, monitor and improve the impact that processes, people and activities play on the environment and community.
