As one of the industry’s leading trade events, it was great to have Intersec back on the tradeshow calendar and it was even more pleasing to see the show supported by many exhibitors and visitors. The DT team took up their usual space in Hall 4 and was supported by distribution partners for the Middle East – Novus Fire & Security.
Throughout the three days, the DT stand welcomed more than 200 people and hosted numerous meetings with customers and local authorities, it was great to have the support of the FIA and BSIA who led many visitors to their stand and continue to help in the drive to raise standards with regards to compliant testing.

The team is back from the show and following up on all the leads received, thank you to everyone who visited the show and made it a success – particularly those who spent time on the stand sharing their experiences and challenges when it comes to compliant detector testing.
Promoting best practices
It was interesting to hear how the industry has continued to adapt through the challenges of the last two years and how the desire to promote best practices through the use of new technology remains strong.
It was especially encouraging to experience increased demand for Testifire and hear first hand, the difference it is making to fire engineering companies throughout the Middle East.
