Perfection Uniforms proudly announced the addition of Daniel J. Gillham as Business Development Manager.
Perfection Uniforms, the leading innovator in police, fire, EMS, and DNR uniforms, proudly announced the addition of Daniel J. Gillham as Business Development Manager. With a 22 year history of working with government and public safety, Danny will be traveling the U.S. and Canada to call on various types of agencies and encourage participation in Perfection’s complimentary wear test program.
Danny began his career in the uniform industry in 1991 with Weinbrenner/Thorogood footwear. In 1998, he became part of the Image wear Division with Horace Small Apparel/The Force at VF Corporation. A graduate of St. Cloud State University’s business program, Danny also attended Red Wing Technical Institute where he received a degree in Alternative Energy and Green Technology. Considering how Perfection has taken the uniform industry by storm with the 2009 unveiling of their eco-responsible yet highly technological MTX-ECO line, Danny’s diverse work and education background enables him to effectively educate agencies on the merits of investing in an eco-responsible uniform. MTX-ECO incorporates the use of REPREVE®100% recycled polyester which is made from a combination of post industrial waste and post-consumer plastic bottles, which have diverted from the waste stream. The line is also upscale, being the uniform of choice for Canada’s Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and in fact, helped the agency to garner a Best Dressed Award from NAUMD (North-American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors) earlier this year.
Steve Gilkeson, Executive Vice President of Perfection Uniforms, comments: “We are quite fortunate to have a respected market veteran such as Danny leading our agency program development. Our continuing market share growth is a direct result of the practical innovation and comparative wear test successes of Perfection brand uniforms at the agency level.”
Danny will be appearing on behalf of Perfection Uniforms at various trade shows this year such as the Police and Security Expo in Atlantic City, NJ and the National Sheriffs’ Association Conference in Anaheim, CA.
