The Vines BMW garage on Moorfield Road, Guildford, is a successful dealership specializing in high-end BMW models. Vines is a privately-owned family company and is proud to have been in association with BMW in Surrey and Sussex for more than twenty years.

Their company mission is “To inspire each other to delight our customers, which Eurotech also strives for and is very close to the company’s ethos. Vines BMW Guildford required a new, pioneering fire safety system, one that would suit the contemporary design of their showroom and offices but also provide guaranteed reliability for years to come.

Facing safety risks

The panel had outlived its use, the device continually crashing and activating false alarms

When the team at Commfire approached Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd to address Vines BMW’s safety needs, the dealership had been experiencing issues with their current fire detection system. The panel had outlived its use, the device continually crashing and activating false alarms.

Not only were these frustrating for the staff, but also caused alarm for the customers and reflected an unprofessional atmosphere on the company. To make matters worse, the system had suffered a complete shutdown, which imposed unacceptable safety risks in the event of an actual fire.

Toccare Touch Panel

They needed a solidly reliable, top-of-the-range system, and one that would present their business in a more favorable light. Eurotech was proud to supply the Toccare Touch Panel, which boasts a sleek touchscreen user interface and innovative design, and can be attractively displayed on the showroom floor rather than hidden away in a cupboard.

Abiding by the requirements

The Toccare accommodated all of the dealership’s requirements with the advantages of the panel being the current industry leader with a lengthy lifespan and assured dependability.

Commfire executed the installation process with excellent efficiency, attending all of Vines BMW’s customer service requirements.

The panel was needed with haste, given the failure of the existing system, and Commfire met this challenge with proficiency and professionalism. It was a pleasure to work with both Vines BMW and Commfire to bring this dealership into the new age of fire detection equipment.
