CSVFD Responds To Mutual Aid Semi Fire

In the early morning hours of June 3, 2020, the Crescent Springs/ Villa Hills firemen were dispatched to southbound 75 at the 185.2 with Erlanger Fire & EMS for a semi on fire. Engine 503 arrived on the scene and supplied Erlanger Engine 51 with tank water. Engine 503 remained on scene for a very short period of time before being released by command.

CSVFD Responds To Multi - Family Structure Fire

In the early evening hours of June 2, 2020, units were dispatched to Woodhill Court for a possible structure fire. Original reports from the 911 call stated smoke in the building and a "popping" noise in the walls. CSVFD Dispatched For Fire Alarm Activation

During the early afternoon hours of April 06, 2020, CSVFD was dispatched for fire alarm activation on Sunglow Avenue. Immediately following the initial dispatch Kenton County Emergency Communications Center (KCECC) notified Chief 525 (Chief Wendt) that the alarm company had made contact with the homeowner and there was an active fire in the kitchen. CSVFD Responds To Outside Structure Fire

During the late morning hours of 03/30/2020, CSVHFD was dispatched to the Carpenter's Trace neighborhood for a possible structure fire. First arriving units found outdoor fire adjacent to the living structure with no extension into the living residence, only the outdoor shed, an old lawnmower, and curbside garbage can sustain damage. Damages to the shed were minimal. Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes extinguishing the fire and checking for extension. No injuries were reported.

CSVFD Dispatched For An Injury Accident

On the evening of 03/13/2020 at 23:00 hours, CSVHFD Paramedics and Fireman were dispatched in the area of Buttermilk Pike and Meadowview Dr. for an injury accident. First arriving units located a head-on accident with heavy front-end damage. Medic 514 requested an additional Medic, and Medic 516 was dispatched. Only one confirmed injury was transported, crews on the scene believed the injuries to be minor in nature.  

CSVHFD Responds To Local Neighborhood Emergency

On the afternoon of 02/29/2020, CSVHFD Paramedics and Firefighters responded to a medical emergency in a local neighborhood. With a wonderful outcome, and no need to transport the patient to the hospital, the paramedics and firefighters spent some time on the scene with the local residents and children showing them the equipment they use every day to help someone potentially in need of their services. 

CSVFD Dispatched For A Residential Fire

On the evening of 02/29/2020, CSVHFD Firefighters responded into the city of Edgewood along with Erlanger, Elsmere, Fort Mitchell, and Florence Fire Departments for a large residential structure fire in the 3,000 blocks Turkeyfoot Rd. CSVHFD members operated on the scene for approximately 1.5 hours prior to returning to a jurisdiction. During this time, the paramedics and firefighters were also able to staff 2 ambulances and 2 additional pieces of fire apparatus.

CSVHFD Dispatched For A Structure Fire On Highwater Road

CSVHFD responded mutual aid with the Bromley Fire Department for a structure fire on Highwater Road. On arrival, crews found heavy fire showing from a vacant residence. The fire was marked under control in 1 hour. No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze was determined to be arson.

CSVHFD responded to Enid Street in the Hollywood neighborhood of Crescent Springs. Units responding were told at the time of dispatch that multiple calls were being received for what appeared to be a chimney fire. On arrival, crews found heavy showing from the exterior of the home. Multiple lines were simultaneously deployed and the fire was marked under control in 15 minutes. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. CSVHFD Introduces New Ambulance In Service

Crescent Springs - Villa Hills Fire Department recently placed a new ambulance in service. Medic 514 is a 2018 Ford F-450 made by Horton. Medic 514 is staffed 24 hours a day year-round with a Paramedic and EMT. It serves as the first-out ambulance for the community.

CSVHFD Responds To A Structure Fire In Fort Mitchell

Crescent Springs - Villa Hills Fire Department was first due for a working fire on Clay Ct in Fort Mitchell. The crew on Truck 510 faced heavy fire upon arrival. Due to an aggressive attack, the fire was contained in the garage.
