With 20 years of building emergency vehicles, 1st Attack Engineering of Waterloo has added water tankers to its lineup. The company built its first water tanker for the LaGrange Fire Department. LaGrange Fire Chief Dave Elick contacted Jeffrey Cook, president of 1st Attack Engineering, to build the tanker, the company said. LaGrange chose to use a 1999 International chassis for its tanker.
