Advanced now markets its panels, fire systems, fire paging and suppression and extinguishing control panels

Robin will work to bring in new business in the key London and the South East marketplace

Leading fire systems manufacturer Advanced has boosted its team in South East England with the appointment of Robin Kemp as regional sales manager.

Formed in the UK 14 years ago, Advanced now markets its panels, fire systems, fire paging and suppression and extinguishing control panels in over 60 countries worldwide. The company’s continuing growth is in part due to exceptional talents of its employees around the globe.

Robin will work with colleagues to support existing customer accounts and bring in new business in the key London and the South East marketplace, where the company’s industry-leading fire panels have been installed in some of the country’s most prestigious buildings, including the Shard, Waterloo Station, the Royal Albert Hall and Windsor Castle.

Having previously worked with a leading distributor of Advanced products, Robin was already aware of Advanced’s reputation for quality and performance. He said: “I knew from my own experience and customer feedback in previous roles that Advanced is at the cutting edge when it comes to technology, quality and customer service, so when this opportunity came along I jumped at the chance.

“Advanced is the biggest company I’ve ever worked with and I was particularly attracted by the fact that the business has grown rapidly, while never losing focus on delivering the very best solutions for each client. Most of the customers tend to come back to us again and again, which is always welcome and also delivers us challenges to convert the remaining market and to continually develop our product range, service and support.”

The 28-year-old, who lives in Tunbridge Wells, will be based out of Advanced’s South East regional office and training centre in Chertsey, Surrey. A keen footballer and Chelsea fan, he studied Business Administration at the University of Greenwich before joining the fire industry.

Ian Thompson, Sales Director at Advanced, said: “The South East region is absolutely central to our UK operations, with many of our largest clients and most high-profile projects located in London and the surrounding area. We’re very pleased to have found someone who not only knows our product range, but is also passionate about the culture of quality and excellence we have worked to build over many years.”
