CMC is excited to showcase its latest products for rescue at FDIC 2021. Visitors will be able to demo the newly released 13 mm (1/2 in) CMC CLUTCH™ by Harken Industrial™, the comfortable and customizable ATOM™ Harnesses, the innovative LEVR™ Escape System featuring the new Flash.G™ and Flash.2™ Escape Anchors, and more!

The CLUTCH is the latest evolution in rope hardware that enables the technical rope professional to do more with less. Developed with Harken Industrial, the CLUTCH is a single versatile tool for efficient hauling, controlled lowering, smooth personal descent, easy ascending, belaying, and TTRS.

Customizable harness series

Now available in 13 mm and 11 mm models, the CLUTCH moves seamlessly between anchor-based systems and personal use. Both models are certified to NFPA (G) and ANSI. Their first customizable harness series with the most comfortable ever developed by CMC, the ATOM™ offers maximum comfort, safety, and efficiency. Try on the ATOM Harness and use their new ‘Build Your Own’ online tool to customize the harness to one’s needs.

The CLUTCH moves seamlessly between anchor-based systems and personal use

Designed to assure rapid emergency egress with safe, controllable descent, the LEVR Escape System is built around the CMC LEVR descender, a next-generation device that uses its lever-shaped handle for progressive descent control, fast and easy horizontal pay-out, reliable edge transition, and intuitive operation.

Emergency escape anchors

The LEVR Escape System now has two anchor options, Flash.G and Flash.2, both certified to NFPA standards as emergency escape anchors and escape descent control devices. Their new Flash.G is gated for efficient remote anchor and has a deployment tether option.

The new LEVR BT Escape System is designed for advanced users to lower a victim before bailing out, a sequence they’re calling the Byrne Technique after CMC School Instructor and Firefighter Kelly Byrne. The CMC Triskelion is the first industrial rescue tripod certified to NFPA standards and the new benchmark for rapid deployment, ease of use, and versatility.
