Clarion UX’s Fire & Rescue Group, formerly PennWell Corporation, announces key organizational changes; including three promotions and three all-star new hires.

Promotions include the elevation of Bobby Halton to Vice President, Education Director/Group Editor, Ted Billick to Group Publisher, and Nanci Yulico to National Sales Manager – Events. “These well-deserved promotions will allow Bobby, Ted and Nanci to expand their leadership roles across the Fire & Rescue portfolio which now includes EMS Today and JEMS. We recognize that there are critical synergies between these industries and by aligning our team, it will allow us to better serve these markets and customers,” said Fire & Rescue Group Senior Vice President Eric Schlett.

New additions bringing their expertise to Clarion UX’s Fire & Rescue Group include: Lauren Ocoma, Vice President, Marketing, Meghan Vitti, Senior Marketing Manager and Chris Marinaro, Key Accounts Manager. Schlett added, “Since joining Clarion Events, we are continuously strengthening our group by adding new resources and talent that can provide expertise to our customers, events and brands. Chris’s lifelong passion and knowledge for the Fire Industry makes him an invaluable resource for our team and our customers. Lauren and Meghan’s previous tradeshow and event marketing experience will help us expand our customer reach and align our brands to create more synergies throughout our marketing and an overall better customer experience for those we serve.”

Below are bios for each:

Bobby Halton – Vice President, Education Director/Group Editor

As Vice President, Education Director Bobby takes on the critical responsibility of advancing the group’s content in company’s existing markets, in addition to working with the management team to find niche opportunities that closely align with the first responder market. In this role, Bobby will continue to lead the content and education for the Fire & EMS group whether in print, in person or online (digital). Bobby’s unique background as a firefighter, instructor, author and ‘Renaissance man’ will ensure that the company is positioned to serve the audience with the high quality and respected content they have come to rely on to do their job while saving lives and property.

Ted Billick – Group Publisher

Ted’s commitment to growing the fire franchise over the past 5 years as National Sales Manager has readied him to take on the responsibilities associated with this position. In his new capacity, Ted will be responsible for all media brands, both print and digital, for Fire & EMS. Ted will oversee the digital group and the production support team, as well as, the media sales team to ensure using the best technology available to create a vibrant, engaging and exciting digital and magazine experience through various mediums.

Nanci Yulico – National Sales Manager – Events

Nanci will continue to lead the charge on the FDIC International event for space, sponsorship and digital sales, as well as, the same sales disciplines for EMS Today. With Nanci at the helm of sales for these events she will ensure that exhibiting and sponsoring customers are set up for a successful experience, assisting them with driving value and ROI for their business.

Lauren Ocoma – Vice President, Marketing

Lauren joined Clarion UX at the end of June as Vice President of Marketing, taking the marketing lead for the Fire & Rescue and North American Energy Groups. Lauren moved to Clarion UX from Reed Exhibitions where she spent the past 12 years working across a number of marketing portfolio’s, most recently serving at the Group Marketing Director for Reed’s Jewelry Portfolio, which included JCK Las Vegas.

Meghan Vitti – Senior Marketing Manager

Meghan joined Clarion UX in August, as the Senior Marketing Manager for the Fire & Rescue Group. Prior to joining Clarion UX, Meghan furthered her knowledge of event management, operations and logistics, working as an Event & Account Manager for Stetson Convention Services, a general service contractor in Pittsburgh. Before relocating to Pittsburgh, Meghan started her career at Reed Exhibitions working across multiple events as a Marketing Manager.

Chris Marinaro – Key Accounts Manager

Chris joined Clarion UX in as Key Accounts Manager, dedicated to the Fire & Rescue Group. Chris’s role as Key Accounts Manager will be to provide a productive business environment to connect buyers and sellers with mutual interests during FDIC International. Prior to joining the Fire & Rescue Group, Chris served as the Regional Sales Representative for Bulldog Fire Apparatus the New England Dealer for KME Fire Apparatus, and also worked for Movado Group Inc. as the Digital Marketing Manager & Brand Marketing Manager for Movado Watches. Chris is a passionate and active life-long volunteer fire fighter, currently with the Madison Hose Company in Madison, CT.
