In the survey, Chubb retained its number one spot for fire and security brands while falls inside top 100 for all brands

Chubb Fire & Security has retained its status as the UK’s number one fire and security brand in the 2016 Business Superbrands survey. The annual survey is independently administered by The Centre for Brand Analysis with input from an independent expert council and 2,500 business professionals with purchasing or managerial responsibility. Chubb, a leading provider of security and fire-safety solutions, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Of the thousands of brands initially considered in the survey, only the leading brands are deemed to be Business Superbrands – with Chubb taking the number one spot for fire and security brands and falling inside the top 100 for all brands.

Continues to lead way in security and fire protection industry

Stephen Cheliotis, Chairman of the Superbrands Council and Chief Executive of The Centre for Brand Analysis, said, “Despite being over 150 years old, the Chubb brand continues to lead the way in the security and fire protection industry, heading its category once again in the annual UK Business Superbrands ranking.

“Affirming the power of its highly recognised, respected and trusted brand, the reputational advantage of this result undoubtedly provides the business with a significant commercial benefit and ensures it remains the first name a business will turn to for protection,” he continued.

“Recognition as a Business Superbrand is a great testimony to the continued commitment and dedication of our employees throughout the UK,” said Andy Johnston, Head of Marketing & Communications, Chubb Fire & Security Ltd. “We continually review our brand to ensure it remains current, relevant and positively impacts existing and potential clients.”
