Dornan Engineering has appointed Choice as the security and fire contractor for this prestigious Sloane Street development in West London. Mace Ltd is the main contractor, appointed following a competitive tender by the client, the Cadogan Estate.

Works commenced on the site in February 2013 and the speculative scheme is expected to be completed in early 2015. Choice is delighted to have been awarded the combined security and fire packages by Dornan in connection with this new development of mixed use retail and office building at 127-135 Sloane Street.

Independent retail units

The new, six-story building comprises retail on the ground floor and five levels of offices above. A recessed courtyard to the rear opens onto lower ground floor retail frontages and a restaurant. Small independent retail units are planned for Pavilion Road.

Peter Evans, director at Choice Fire & Security Solutions said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Dornan. This is a new relationship for Choice and an opportunity to demonstrate our industry-leading focus on customer service. This is fundamental to our business. The Sloane Street development is highly prestigious and we look forward to delivering this project as well as developing long-term relationships with both Dornan and the client, based on mutual trust and understanding.”
