Having worked at a senior level within the industry for over 25 years, Checkmate welcomes Alan Elliott to its team to head up their newly established ‘Social Housing & Compliance’ division across their UK-wide network.

Alan's experience

Alan served at a high level for several tiers one contractor, before bringing his experience to Checkmate

With a plethora of qualifications under his belt, including an HNC in contract management, Alan began his career as an apprentice for Southern Electric in 1981, working his way up to become a domestic goods engineer.

Moving to Pro take as Operations Director in 1996, Alan continued to prove his expertise, serving at a high level for several tier one contractors, before bringing his experience to Checkmate earlier this year.

Alan comments

Expressing his enthusiasm to be a part of the team, Alan said, “I firmly believe that Checkmate is the place to be for social housing and fire protection right now. We have so much to offer, and I’m thrilled to be working alongside the industry greats!

As a seasoned traveler, Alan enjoys motorcycling and spending time in India whenever possible.
