Carrier is pleased to announce that they have launched a revised and refreshed program for Continuing Professional Development, or CPD. As a part of the company ethos and commitment to sharing knowledge, Carrier has developed a number of engaging seminar modules that can be delivered remotely or in person at the offices or premises.

These modules have been certified for content and accredited by the Fire Industry Association (FIA) and will be delivered by experts to impart and share information and understanding of a number of topics. Each module is worth one CPD point and certificates are issued upon completion to update the records and achievements.

The seminars available are:

  • Wireless for any fire detection system: What is available and how to enhance the existing fire system using wireless gateways.
  • Wireless fire detection and EN54-25: Understanding wireless-based fire systems, the standards, and technology.
  • Why use beam detection?: An introduction to using beam fire detection.
