Bullard has expanded its value-added services by offering firefighters a new state-of-the-art online thermal imaging training program.

The Bullard Smartline Thermal Imaging course takes you through six easy-to-manage lessons that explain thermal imaging technology and how to interpret images using a thermal imager.

This in-depth online training is the first offered by a thermal imaging manufacturer and is a free service. It covers the complete line of Bullard Thermal Imagers for the fire service including the T4, T3Max, T320/T3Max+, and T3XT.

The six lessons take participants step-by-step through:

  • Thermal imaging technology
  • Operating a thermal imager
  • Applications of a thermal imager
  • Optional accessories for your thermal imager
  • Care and maintenance of your thermal imager
  • Self-assessment test

The training is user-friendly and comprehensive. Following each lesson is a true or false exercise that lets you know how well you are doing before taking the final assessment. After successfully passing the final assessment, a certificate of completion is awarded.

Beginning this month, Bullard will provide the training on a CD with every Bullard Thermal Imager sold. This allows customers the option of accessing the training online or through CD. To access the online training, click here.
