The new website from Bristol has become user friendly for its users
Bristol's new website has been designed for its UK customers and overseas market

The site has been carefully colour coded to provide easy navigation throughout the different product areas which now incorporate, within a single site, fire, ambulance and police products and services.

October sees the launch of Bristol’s new website which has been designed and built to provide for the needs of both its UK customers and overseas markets. With half of the company’s business now drawn from over 110 countries, serving the needs of our 70 distributors, who manage many of our customer relationships around the world, has been a key consideration in the website’s design and functionality.

Providing additional corporate, product and technical information for public use, as well as commercially sensitive material in protected, limited access, areas for distributors and customers, the new site offers a more comprehensive, one-stop, source of information. The site also has protected links to microsites which form part of an online network of resources for fire & rescue and other emergency services for procurement management. These resources include wardrobe management, stock management and online tracking.

The site has been carefully colour coded to provide easy navigation throughout the different product areas which now incorporate, within a single site, fire, ambulance and police products and services. Product sections have links to more comprehensive information in the form of brochure pdf’s. A technical helpline is linked to a section covering many commonly asked questions. The news section not only provides access to news releases and media coverage, but also acts as a repository for a library of technical and commercial articles provided to trade and technical magazines for online or magazine publication.

Commenting on the launch of the new site, Bristol’s joint MD, Roger Startin, said, “With all the developments which have taken place recently in web design, as well as the many developments in which Bristol has been involved over the last few years, we took the decision to make a significant investment now to provide a much improved communication platform for our expanding business. We do hope that our customers will value the improved access and resources which we have built into the new site, and that it offers a better window into our business for potential customers. We are always happy to receive customer feedback which can be used to further enhance the value of our site in the future.”
