At 3:30 pm on Feb 26, 2021, the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company’s E811 pumper vehicle was alerted for a structural fire incident on the 14200 Blk Jib Street, in Laurel, Maryland.

Upon arrival, fire rescue units found heavy fire and smoke coming from the roof of an apartment building. The E811 pumper arrived on scene and assumed RIT.

Units operated for approximately 2 hours, prior to returning to service. There were no reported injuries from any occupants or firefighters, owing to the fire breakout.
