New member Malik Alexander was awarded by PGFD Fire Chief Benjamin Barksdale for actions where Malik used skills he learned as a PGFD High School Cadet to successfully remove a critically injured person from a burning vehicle.

Attending were current Cadets, family & C.H. Flowers High School Principal Brown. Malik is currently a dedicated probationary member at Branchville on his way to becoming an interior firefighter and EMT.

His actions in the community have made everyone here at Company 11 proud to call him one of them.
