BINZ has delivered 11 water rescue vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter KA 416 CDI 4 × 4 to the DLRG Bavaria.

There are vehicles with high or flat roofs, as well as additional equipment such as awning, Martin system, inverter, and additional heating, tailored to the requirements of the respective local associations.

Features

The clear and effective rear extension concept provides plenty of space and storage space. 

The emergency vehicles are equipped, among other things, with a shelving system made of aluminum profile for problem-free and safe stowing of the equipment, brackets for diving equipment, handrails for diving suits, and operational clothing as well as a transport-safe bracket for a Spineboard Combi Carrier II.

Design

The vehicle floor is designed as a hard-wearing sprayed floor, which conveys excess water from the equipment to the outside via a drainage channel.

Additional features

The 3 individual seats are arranged so that they can be moved against the direction of travel. A mechanical step facilitates entry from the side via the sliding door.
 
The signal system, 3x LED beacons, LED front flashers, LED surrounding lights, and LED work lights to ensure visibility and safety during the rescue operation.
