incredible efforts of firefighters

David Lockhart said: “This incredible artwork symbolises the strong bond between our community and our dedicated firefighters and it's a testament to Drew’s appreciation for their bravery and commitment."

The number 167 appears on the painting to represent the address of the Glasgow School of Art-167 Renfrew Street. As a former GSoA student, the building is of great importance to Drew who paid tribute to the 'incredible efforts' of firefighters at fires there in 2014 and 2018.
