Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants (BakerRisk®), an employee-owned risk management consulting firm that specializes in process safety, structural and blast effects engineering, and research and development, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Haines Fire and Risk Consulting (Haines).
Haines specializes in fire protection engineering, water supply analysis, emergency response planning, and fire/explosion investigations.

Fire protection engineering and equipment sales
The integration includes Haines engineers and advisors noting to the Fire Protection unit of BakerRisk
The integration will include Haines engineers and consultants reporting to the current Fire Protection division of BakerRisk. The equipment sales, testing, and service side of Haines will be part of a new wholly owned subsidiary of BakerRisk named HFRC.
Based outside of Philadelphia, HFRC will be led by Stephen Haines, who will be President of the newly formed subsidiary.
