Ali Perry also writes a heartfelt piece calling on the Government to mandate sprinklers in schools in the current issue of Fire Safety Matters magazine.

He says: “If the Government is truly committed to keeping our children safe, then why not mandate sprinklers in new schools and those undergoing renovation? Why do we not seize the opportunity to include them in the remedial work to resolve the risk from RAAC and deal with these two threats to our children’s safety and wellbeing at the same time?.
