Due to the unstable situation in the world and especially in Europe with regards to the coronavirus pandemic, Börger GmbH gave out a company statement for customers stating it has already taken measures to protect the health and safety of employees and everyone who visits the company’s offices.

Ensuring employees’ safety

The statement further read, as an employer, the company takes responsibility for its employees and partners. Therefore, Börger GmbH has decided to cancel business trips and customer visits and to have necessary meetings with external companies in the form of telephone conversations or conferences.

The IT department has already made it possible for numerous employees to use home offices. Within the overall process, to increase the distance, workplaces are extended to additional rooms and employees divided into shifts.

Business continuity and remote working

Börger GmbH is coordinate the supply situation on a daily basis. The company is slated to dispatch the deliveries on time. The company statement, however, added that they cannot influence the situation of the carriers, who depend on border regulations or other events. Carriers no longer give any delivery commitments.

The company hopes to do everything they can to protect employees from infection, to continue to be available to customers in word and deed, and to remain a reliable customer for the suppliers.
