AW Hainsworth is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda McLaren to the post of Managing Director at the company.

Following the formation of the Family Council and the appointment of Andrew Wright as Non-Executive Chairman in 2018, Amanda McLaren is a welcome addition and will support the Executive Director Team, with the safe running of this family business.

2020 was equally challenging for AW Hainsworth as for many other businesses, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, AW Hainsworth has continued to manufacture throughout the crisis, to support their customers, suppliers, and the local community. This highly respected business has a good platform to grow in greater strength in the coming years.

Amanda McLaren is a highly experienced Executive Board Director with a record for results, working with both SME’s and global manufacturing organizations and with her previous experience gained from working at the Halifax-based company, James Heal, Amanda will lead the team with a passion for the industry and a wealth of manufacturing knowledge and commerciality.

New Managing Director appointment

The new Managing Director at AW Hainsworth, Amanda McLaren, said “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the prestigious AW Hainsworth, in the capacity of Managing Director, working within a very experienced and driven Executive Director Team. I am excited to be able to take the reins and help the Team to fully explore and achieve its strategic growth objectives.
