Paul Hubbard shared the update on the latest policies amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic. 

The government informed that in an effort to drastically reduce the rate of transmission of the virus, they are imposing enforceable measures to stop all but essential traveling and personal interaction for the next 3 weeks. 

In response to this, the Company has ensured the welfare of customers, the staff and the wider population as a whole, whilst maintaining the highest possible level of service to the customers.

Home working policy for staff

Therefore, a home working policy has been brought into force for all of the staff members who can fully perform their functions remotely of the offices, without affecting the service. Clearly this will not be possible for some roles, particularly those in the manufacturing, distribution, and site service departments. Measures are in place to minimize the amount of social interaction for these employees and the Company thanked those employees for their continuing dedication to their duties.

The employees have had a great response to this latest change to normal work patterns. Whilst COVID-19 is a growing challenge in the UK, AVK, Fusion and Syntec manufacturing facilities in China where they have reported production and supply was at over 95% of pre-Corona levels.
