Automatic has installed a number of Sprinkler Systems into Glanbia Manufacturing Facilities around the country, both in green field new build projects and in existing buildings.
In Belview, for Glanbia Ingredients, they designed, installed and commissioned an NFPA Fire Protection System for the new green field Dairy Facility. The works also included water supplies (Sprinkler, Tank and Fire Pumps) along with underground Hydrants and Fire Main. There was also a Gas Suppression system installed.
Providing service and maintenance support
They also subsequently completed the Sprinkler Works to the extension of the Manufacturing Facility
The facility provides for the manufacture of specialized milk powder products and nutritional ingredients to meet the demands of multinationals in infant formula and other industries operating in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Central America. All produce from Belview is destined for export markets.

NFPA Fire Protection System
They are currently installing a Sprinkler System in the Cheese Manufacturing facility in Portlaoise, working for Glanbia Cheese EU. This is also an NFPA Fire Protection System.
The respective design teams were led Malone O’Regan Consulting Engineers in Belview and the PM Group in Portlaoise.
