The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the trade association for passive fire protection will be showcasing its range of training courses, guidance documents and membership services in the ASFP Passive Fire Protection Pavilion on stand FI1224 at Firex 2023 in London Excel from 16-18 May.

The ASFP Passive Fire Protection Pavilion brings together in one location a number of ASFP member companies, representing a cross section of the passive fire protection (PFP) sector.

Passive fire protection

This year, for the first time, the Pavilion will also feature ASFP Pods, which allow some of their smaller member companies to have a presence at the event. Another new feature for this year is the ASFP Passive Fire Experience, their Virtual Reality (VR) training facility.

Their experts will be on hand to answer all the passive fire protection queries

It contains a ten-person Virtual Reality (VR) headset system and they will be offering visitors an opportunity to get a taste of their new VR training courses and learn about PFP in an exciting new way. Their experts will be on hand to answer all the passive fire protection queries, discuss the latest regulatory developments and explain how the training courses can help users to demonstrate competency.

Building maintenance and management

They will describe their full range of courses, from classroom training to our revolutionary e-learning platform, which enables learners to study towards the Institution of Fire Engineers Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in PFP.

The ASFP Passive Fire Protection Pavilion aims to help visitors to gain a greater understanding of the essential role of PFP within today’s built environment and offers easy access to advice, products, services and best practice in relation to ‘built-in’ fire protection.  It is ideal for all involved in construction, fire safety and building maintenance and management, including facilities managers, contractors, services installers, Responsible Persons and designers.
