Argus Security announces the release of a new line of wired and wireless Manual Call Points. Fully approved to EN54-11 and EN54-25 (wireless variant) by BRE/LPCP, the new range delivers better performances in terms of the device’s setup and usability.

This new line of Manual Call Points will replace the existing range and they have also added a waterproof wired variant. The obsolete products, both wired and wireless, will not be available after 1st January 2021.

Key features of the new range

  • Full panel back-compatibility: The new Manual Call Point product line is compatible with all fire control panels utilizing the Argus fully digital communication protocol.
  • Better visibility of the alarm condition: A reflective flag appears at the bottom of the operating face, providing the highest levels of visibility for the user. A led will brightly illuminate a ring in the center of the active area and the special light pipe design allows the alarm condition to be viewed from a wide-angle (170 degrees).
  • Resettable operating element: The Manual Call Point is easily resettable using the special key provided that allows, with a simple twist action, to restore the normal operating condition.
  • Simple installation: The front operating element secures into place by pressing it without the need for screws or tools. The front element is released using the dedicated reset and removal tool supplied with each unit.
  • New IP67 waterproof wired variant available: The addressable wired waterproof resettable call point, AI-CPW-R-01, is available as an IP67 rated model which includes all the features of the standard call point plus the capability to withstand difficult environmental conditions such as rain, high humidity, or dust.
  • Improved battery life (wireless variant): 10 years
