creativity and innovation
Every year, Sydney’s Vivid Lights Festival lights the way with world-class creativity and innovation that the whole family can enjoy.
More than 2 million visitors attended the festival across 23 days and nights of immersive outdoor light displays, art installations, live music, and free events taking place in over eight precincts from May 24 – June 15.
inclusion options
ARA Group was proud to play a special role in bringing inclusion and accessibility to Vivid Lights
To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience and enjoy the music events and light displays, Vivid ensures that there are accessible and inclusion options available for visitors of all ages and abilities, including accessible viewing areas and accessibility maps, as well as interactive guest experiences, audio descriptions, text to talk and wheelchair hire.
For the second year in a row, the ARA Group was proud to play a special role in bringing inclusion and accessibility to Vivid Lights through the sponsorship of the Tumbalong Lights playSPACE playground in Darling Harbour.
series of installations
ARA partnered with Vivid’s Access and Inclusion Partner, Cushman & Wakefield, as well as fellow light contributors Minter Ellison, Charter Hall, Suncorp, and Westpac to deliver a series of installations with Australian artists that were inspired by the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
ARA staff volunteered at the Tumbalong playSPACE to provide assistance to attendees and ensure that everything ran smoothly.
"Installations and activations have been produced to the principles of ‘universal design’ so that people of all ages and abilities can enjoy a trip to outer space," said Cushman & Wakefield – Vivid Sydney’s Access and Inclusion Partner.
