The ARA story began in 2001, when Edward Federman and Leo Browne strategically planned the development of a complementary network of building and facility services.
They are present in more than forty locations, delivering fully integrated infrastructure and facility solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
Scale and quality
ARA has gained recognition as an industry pioneer that is committed to enhancing the scale
There are now over 2,000 ARA employees working across the Fire, Security, Electrical, Mechanical, Building, Property Services, Indigenous Services and Products divisions.
Under the leadership of Ed Federman, the Executive Chair and Managing Director, ARA has gained recognition as an industry pioneer that is committed to enhancing the scale and quality of its offerings, as well as giving back to the communities in which they work and live.
Continuous growth and profitability
"Reflecting on ARA’s growth has affirmed our confidence in both our vision and our people. The hard work and collaborative effort of our employees is essential to providing the high level of service our customers require of us," said Edward Federman, Executive Chair and Managing Director of The ARA Group.
As they embark on the eighteenth year of operations, they reflect on the continuous growth and profitability they have achieved as a Group, as well as the meaningful projects and partnerships that they have built within the communities across Australia and New Zealand.
ARA Endowment Fund
In 2019, they remained focused on organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and working diligently to fulfill the commitments of the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2018-2020.
They will also continue to raise funds for the ARA Endowment Fund in support of The Indigenous Literacy Foundation, The GO Foundation, and The David Lynch Foundation, as part of the mission to build a lasting legacy of charitable support that will continue for generations to come.
They are also looking forward to embarking on the second year as the Principal Partner of both the Sydney Writers’ Festival and The Monkey Baa Theater Company and continuing the support for Sydney’s lively art sector.
