Apollo appointed Karl to reinforce its focus on innovation
Karl will also become member of Apollo Global Board, overseeing company’s product road map to assist in international growth

Apollo Fire Detectors has appointed Karl Westhead as Technical Director EMEA, reinforcing its focus on innovation and bringing its EMEA board to full strength.  

Announcing the new appointment, Steve Brown Apollo Managing Director EMEA, said: “Apollo is committed to providing the most advanced fire protection systems possible. Karl’s appointment means we now have the full team in place to implement our strategic plan and deliver the next generation of innovative fire detection products.  

“Karl will also become a member of the Apollo Global Board, overseeing the company’s global product road map to assist in our international growth.”

Karl graduated from Durham and Loughborough Universities with degrees in Electronics and Automotive Engineering. He started his professional career, firstly at Ford and later with Visteon. Most recently, Karl was Engineering Director at Avire, also a HALMA company.
