Apollo's Senior Product Manager delivered a seminar on Integrating Fire Detection into Building Systems

Apollo Fire Detectors, the world-leading independent fire detector manufacturer, recently exhibited at IFSEC at Birmingham NEC (14th – 17th May). As a truly global company, Apollo highlighted its industry-leading provision of localised customer service on a worldwidescale. Visitors to the Apollo stand (Hall 3, Stand B15) in the Fire Solutions area were also able to find out about the company’s extensive product and service offering, including:

  • OpenConnect Gateway, which enables fire detection to be easily and fully integrated with building management systems (BMS)
  • Product Lifetime Guarantee: a market-leading guarantee on all products for their recommended working life – which is ten years for detectors and five years for CO detectors
  • The updated and extended range of XPander wireless fire detectors, which now includes 31 devices and is designed for use in areas where hardwired fire detection is impossible or impractical
  • Apollo’s wide range of free one day training courses and CPD seminars, which aim to bring delegates up to speed on the latest industry legislation and developments 

Eva Kosanovic, Senior Product Manager at Apollo Fire Detectors, delivered a seminar on Integrating Fire Detection into Building Management Systems. Addressing the issues surrounding the integration of fire detection with other building management systems, Eva highlighted the latest technological developments in the BMS world and the future of fire system integration.
