Angus Fire has launched a campaign to support businesses looking to make the transition to fluorine-free foams.

It has created a simple three-step process to help facilities respond to new legislation and regulations surrounding the use of fluorinated chemicals.

F3 Transition seminar

Working with a global client base and distributor network, Angus Fire recently hosted an F3 Transition seminar to support the fire sector as it goes through this period of significant change.

Nick Barker, Commercial Director of Angus Fire, said, “The fire sector is going through a major change with the global transition away from fluorinated foams to fluorine-free foams."

F3 Transition seminar

We have had numerous calls from clients asking whether their legacy fixed foam systems are compatible with the new generation of fluorine-free foams. In response, we organized a seminar with our channel partners from across the globe to share our insights and expertise about how we can support our customers."

The event included fire testing and demonstrations and a tour around our research and development labs and fluorine-free foam production facilities."

Discover, Assess, and Deliver strategy

Angus Fire’s deep technical expertise and worldwide reputation are trusted by global organizations operating in high-hazard environments. Our F3 transition campaign focuses on a Discover, Assess, and Deliver strategy. We offer a full conversion pathway service or a scalable approach suited to the needs of our customers."

Among the key considerations are selecting the correct foam and assessing the existing hardware systems. We look forward to supporting our customers on their transition journey to fluorine-free foams.”
