Trinity Estates needed to establish a maintained system that could secure residents in terms of fire safety

Amthal Fire & Security is the fire safety partner of choice for Trinity Estates, currently looking after the fire requirements of properties maintained by the national property management company.

Trinity Estates, specialise in providing property management solutions to blocks of flats, residential estates and mixed-use developments of any size and complexity. With over 50,000 units managed, Trinity Estates is always looking for ways to help improve the energy efficiency, comfort, safety and security for its residents.

Establish a maintained system to secure residents

Working closely with Amthal Fire & Security, Trinity Estates needed to establish a maintained system that could secure residents in terms of fire safety systems, especially in communal areas, including all fire alarms, emergency lighting, automatic opening vents, dry -risers, sprinkles and associated services across its property portfolio in the south east.

Says John McDowall, Contracts Manager at Trinity Estates: “As a responsible managing agent, we have a legal responsibility for the fire safety of our residents. Whilst this is a clear enough statement, the considerations and precautions to be taken are challenging due to the mixed tenure of property we look after.”

Planned preventative maintenance & emergency 24/7

“We found Amthal following an intensive search for a support supplier and have not looked back. Amthal’s team has proven to be responsive and always on hand to offer invaluable advice, right from site surveys through to ongoing planned preventative maintenance and emergency 247 on site demands and telephone support. So much so, from initial test sites, Amthal Fire & Security has grown to being one of our largest and most trusted suppliers for all processes involving fire & security.”

Phil Bryant, Service Accounts Manager at Amthal Fire & Security added: “Right from our trial period with the properties specified, we developed a dedicated internal engineering and administration process bespoke to Trinity, to ensure we can achieve all operational requirements.

Constant review to ensure residents are always protected

“By taking the time and resource out in the first place, Trinity has responded by increasing our property portfolio to manage. For Amthal Fire & Security, this is something we do as a matter of course, and we constantly review to ensure residents are always protected and managing agents such as Trinity Estates are fulfilling their legal duty.”

Independently owned, Amthal Fire & Security is dedicated to satisfying end user needs for security safety and convenience offering design, installation, service and remote monitoring of advanced electronic fire & security solutions, including intruder, Fire, Access and CCTV systems.

Amthal Fire & Security is accredited by the Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB), United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) and British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE).
