The Firefighter Preparation Workshop series, organized by the Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) and Alameda County Firefighters Association (ACFFA), will introduce fire service practices and processes to anyone interested in a fire service career. The firefighter preparation workshop series are open to access for the public, and no registration is required to attend it.

The Firefighter Preparation Workshop series will help to prepare individuals interested in a professional career in firefighting and fire protection services.
The firefighting workshops will also help explain interested individuals the different components of the hiring process for firefighter recruits, including an overall introduction to the fire service and preparation for the written test, physical agility test, and personal interviews.
