Representatives from Wisconsin-based Aladtec will be among 265 vendors demonstrating the latest tools and services for fire and rescue services during the Firehouse Expo gathering Oct. 10-12 at the Music City Center, downtown Nashville.
Aladtec's cloud-based scheduling and workforce management software is used by more than 2,300 agencies across the U.S. and Canada, including 22 fire, rescue, law enforcement and dispatch centers in the State of Tennessee.
Aladtec is easy to use with no equipment to buy or maintain, and no software to install. The system can be used anytime by any staff member with internet access. Volunteer and paid-on-call organizations benefit from online member availability submission, rules-based sign-ups, and automated trading features.
Reduce unscheduled overtime With work limits
Aladtec can help control payroll costs and reduce unscheduled overtime with built-in work limits. Administrators can approve shift trades and time-off requests from a smartphone. The platform also includes customizable forms, an event calendar, massive storage for records and policies, certification tracking, a discussion forum, and more, that collectively make scheduling and workforce management easy.
Aladtec's annual subscription fee is based on the number of agency members who use the platform. All set-up, training, and unlimited technical support are included in the price.
"Members love the fact they can see and manipulate their time off from anywhere, a process that (once took) hours or days can be done in minutes," said New Albany firefighter Tim Bailey. "We not only took our scheduling online, but we were also able to eliminate 95 percent of our paperwork by utilizing the forms section of the program. We do daily truck checks with auto-notification to accident reports and supply requests."
Firehouse Expo Demonstration
Aladtec Account Executive Ashley Stone and Systems Specialist AJ Plehal will be on-hand in Booth #625 to demonstrate Aladtec's capabilities and answer any questions from existing- or prospective customers. The Exhibit Hall will be open from both Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10,11,12.
The Nashville exposition opens Thursday with a keynote by Curt Isakson, Battalion Chief with Escambia County (FL) Fire Rescue. Dozens of learning sessions will focus on from forcible entry and exterior streams, to stationhouse pranks and bullying, and "The New Officer's Guide to the Engine Company."
