Aico’s unique RadioLINK wireless interconnect technology provides an early warning for residents and the best chance of escape
Aico brings its expertise to help customers ensure they get the very best fire and CO detection possible

Domestic Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm company Aico will be exhibiting at HOMES (26-27th November, Olympia, London) for the very first time this year.

HOMES is the UK’s only dedicated national trade event for asset and property management, repairs and maintenance, retrofit and sustainability in social housing, making it an ideal forum for Aico which is the market leader in this area.

Aico works in partnership with local authorities, housing associations, housing developers, specifiers, contractors and wholesalers, bringing its unrivalled products, experience and expertise to help customers ensure they get the very best fire and CO detection possible.

Visit Aico at stand H136 for a demonstration of its smoke and CO alarms and accessories. Ask about the advanced Ei2110 Multi-Sensor mains powered fire alarm which is able to detect a wide range of fires; RadioLINK wireless alarm interconnection technology; and its latest development, the Ei414 Fire/CO Alarm Interface.

Unlike standard smoke alarms, the Ei2110 from Aico contains two separate sensors – Optical and Heat. As such, the unit is capable of monitoring two very different by-products of a fire – smoke and heat – making its response to all fire types significantly improved compared with traditional single sensor type units. The Ei2110 offers particular advantages in areas where risks are undetermined or variable, or where false alarms may be a particular problem, as well as areas where the highest level of protection is desirable.

Aico’s unique RadioLINK wireless interconnect technology provides an early warning for residents and the best chance of escape - should one alarm on the system be activated, Radio Frequency signals transmit to every other Aico alarm in the property to cause them to sound. RadioLINK also removes the undesirable results that hard-wired interconnection can cause, such as being time consuming and disruptive when retrofitting a property.

RadioLINK is also able to wirelessly interconnect to other devices for maximum effectiveness and flexibility, including Aico CO alarms and Alarms for the Hearing Impaired, as well as third party equipment such as sprinkler systems and Telecare Systems.

The new Ei414 Fire/CO Alarm Interface is a flexible device that connects Aico RadioLINK Smoke, Heat and CO alarms with most new and existing Telecare/Warden Call Systems. This increases the safety of vulnerable people by making that vital connection to the extra support they may need to escape from the property unharmed when faced with a fire or CO leak.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Ei Electronics, all Aico alarms are designed and built in Europe, specifically to meet UK standards and regulations, under the strictest of quality controls.
