With the threat of a global pandemic dominating the media yet again, it's now more apparent than ever how important it is to have equipment capable of keeping these epidemics at bay. Florida-based AeroClave develops solutions that do just that, in the form of viral and biological decontamination systems.

The company's portable equipment is specially designed for vehicles and systems used by fire brigades, rescue services and hospitals as well as the police and military organizations. The process used is non-toxic, non-corrosive and environmentally friendly and reduces daily exposure to pathogens such as influenza, staphylococcus/MRSA, hepatitis A/B/C, meningitis and MERS.

Designed to combat highly infectious diseases

In the United States, AeroClave systems are already an integral part of protocols used by state and federal organizations to combat highly infectious diseases such as Ebola and SARS.

Solution features various fogging modes for enclosed spaces and a manual application mode

The company will be at INTERSCHUTZ 2020 to unveil its solutions for rescue services, firefighting, disaster protection, and safety operations. Among the innovations making their trade fair debut is the portable RDS 3110 system, designed to offer versatility and user-friendliness. This solution features various fogging modes for enclosed spaces and a manual application mode that enables the targeted decontamination of a single area as well as outdoor decontamination.

Patented ADP ports are available as optional extras that can be permanently installed in ambulances, fire trucks and other vehicles. For the actual decontamination process, AeroClave recommends the use of EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectants, capable of killing a particularly broad range of viral and biological pathogens.
