Freedor is a wireless, battery powered unit and can be programmed to automatically close the fire door at night. It is a design-led solution for holding fire doors open safely and legally ensuring that one can improve access in premises but still maintain sleek aesthetics. It is essentially a free-swing hold open device that is installed at the top of a fire door to keep the door open in any position and releases the door to contain fire and smoke when the fire alarm sounds.
