UL's Tactical Consideration: Flow Path and Suppression Must be Considered Together

UL FSRI’s Robin Zevotek explains why the flow path and suppression must be considered together. The flow path of the fire and suppression tactics must be thought of together. Knowing how and when to alter the flow path allows for a safer and more effective fire attack. During fire suppression, firefighters have the opportunity to take advantage of how water streams can alter the flow of smoke and heat.
