Marlboro (VT) Volunteer Fire Company was incorporated in 1948 with the purpose of providing fire protection to the town. Today, they utilize 2 engines and a light rescue to provide fire and EMS first response to the towns approximate 1,000 residents, and those passing through.

The Shelburne Fire Department has been providing emergency services to the residents of Shelburne since 1941. They are a professional 100% volunteer organization serving the Vermont community out of a single station, built in 1983. They provide fire suppression, heavy rescue, marine rescue, hazardous material control and fire prevention & education services.
