Established way back in In 1901, Jefferson Fire & Rescue Company as of 2006 runs six pieces of apparatus: Engine 201, Engine/Tanker 204, Squad 20, Brush 205, Ambulance 209, and Medic 20. There are approximately 160 members in the Jefferson Vol Fire Company including: 30 firefighters, two captains, two lieutenant, one deputy chief, one assistant chief, and one chief.
