Albany Airport Fire Department stands ready around the clock to respond to aircraft emergencies at Albany International Airport. In addition, the fire department staff respond to emergency medical calls, structure fires and hazardous material spills on Airport property. All fire safety personnel are NYS certified Firefighters, NYS certified Emergency Medical Technicians, Hazardous Materials Technicians and CPR/AED instructors.

Albany Fire Department provides protection of life, property, and the environment from the effects of fire, medical emergencies, and hazards in the safest, most efficient manner possible.
