International Fire Protection is a full fire and life safety services provider. They service and install a wide variety of custom fire alarms, security alarms, phone systems, call systems, installation, inspections, repairs & service. They provide Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants, Backflows, Inspections and much more.

The Luverne Volunteer Fire Department (LVFD) operates out of one station. LVFD has 30 volunteer fire fighters. LFVD operates two engines, one reserve engine, one tanker, one brush truck, one rescue extrication truck, one combination brush/rescue truck, two boats, and a Chief's truck.
