The Township of Langley Fire Department serves a large population spread across 316 square kms (122 sq/miles) and protects various residential, commercial, light and heavy industrial in urban, suburban, and rural areas. The Department is a combination of career/paid-call service consisting of approximately 100 career staff and 100 paid-call members.

Vancouver Fire Rescue Services is committed to the health and safety of staff and the community, and will enhance awareness through education and involvement while providing world class fire and rescue services. In addition to fire suppression, they provide pre-hospital care, vehicle rescue, marine response, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and many other emergency services in Vancouver.

The City of Victoria’s new Victoria Fire Department Headquarters is located at 1025 Johnson Street. The public safety building is part of a mixed-use development. This development includes 130 units of purpose-built, affordable homes operated by Pacific Housing. BC Emergency Health Services will lease space to operate a stand-alone, two-ambulance bay downtown.
