Since 1974, Grace Industries has designed and manufactured 'Certified' electronic life safety products that protect workers in dangerous jobs across dozens of industries, including firefighters, miners, confined space, rail, fall-protection and many others, while specializing in lone-worker safety. They manufacture Personal Alert Safety System PASS devices & Advanced Emergency Signaling and Automated Firefighter Accountability Systems.

Phoenixville Fire Department staff includes a full-time Chief of Fire and Emergency Services, two full-time Assistant Chiefs, 30 part-time staff and 36 volunteers. The Borough is committed to growing a strong combination response model comprised of additional full-time staff and volunteers. The Borough secured State RACP funding for the new fire station that officially opened on August 20, 2022.
