The Anderson County Fire Department has a total of 27 volunteer fire stations and three sub-stations. Each station is made up of men and women of all ages who volunteer their time to protect the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. They Protect approximately 202,000 citizens, 757 square miles, and respond to over 5,000 calls a year.

The primary focus of the Pine Ridge Fire Department is fire suppression. However, we also are competent in handling all emergencies encountered. We also serve in a first responder role augmenting emergency medical services with life-saving care to the public.
