About Basel-Stadt fire department

The Basel-Stadt rescue is one of the operational areas of the JSD. It consists of the fire brigade, medical, military and civil defense departments as well as operational support. The management support department reports directly to the commanding officer - this ensures the operational and administrative coordination of the departments.
