Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue provides Fire Protection and Advanced Life Support (ALS) service and Basic Life Support service to the community.

Kirkland Fire Department employs approximately 111 employees who are involved in a diverse range of activities. The department provides 24-hour coverage for fire suppression, technical rescue and emergency medical responses. The department also provides fire prevention and education, fire investigations, inspections, code compliance and disaster preparedness services to the population.

Established in 1920, the National Association of State Foresters is a non-profit organization composed of the directors of forestry agencies in the states, U.S. territories, and District of Columbia. Our members manage and protect state and private forests, which encompass nearly two-thirds of the nation's forests.

The VRFA joined existing resources from the Auburn and Pacific Fire Departments to provide fire services to the communities of Algona, Auburn and Pacific. They provide Fire Prevention, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Operations, and Business Inspections.
