The Mission of San Diego City Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 145, is to support their fire and EMS personnel so that they may provide the highest quality fire, rescue and emergency medical service to the Citizens of San Diego.

From the Great Earthquake and Fire of 1906 to the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989, the Department has grown to meet the many challenges along the way. SJFD serves San José’s incorporated city limits and unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County totaling around 1.2 million residents.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department serves and safeguards the community from the impacts of fires, medical emergencies, environmental emergencies, and natural disasters. They provide consultation and fire safety education courses and they also provide fire safety apparatus and equipment.
